How do Emilie and Steve use blogs?

All of the Mesa County Libraries (Emilie's former place of employment) blogs are run by Blogger, which is perhaps the most simple way of which I know to create a blog. The blogs are hosted on the Blogger server, and we just have to provide links to the blogs on our website. Here are the Mesa County Libraries blogs:

* http://mcpldteens.blogspot.com/ is the Teen Blog, which I used to author

* http://librarianslove.blogspot.com/ is the book review/recommended reading/readers advisory blog, which is maintained by a library assistants

Pikes Peak Library District uses WordPress for their blogs, which include:

* The Blog @ ppld.org, http://library.ppld.org/blogs/ppld/, a news and general information blog

* Pikes Peak Library District Kids Blog, http://library.ppld.org/blogs/kidssrp/

* PPLD Teen Zone Blog, http://library.ppld.org/blogs/teen/

* Terry's Take on Business, our business librarian's blog, http://library.ppld.org/blogs/business/

* The Community Breast Cancer Resource Center blog, http://library.ppld.org/blogs/cbcrc/

CC Tutt Library uses Movable Type. Currently we maintain these blogs:

* Bookends, Book Reviews from Tutt Library staff: http://library.coloradocollege.edu/bookends/

* Colorado Springs Area Libraries: home page for the CAL interest group, the blog is in the right sidebar: http://library.coloradocollege.edu/colospgslibs/

* Library Program Committee: planning for a new library at Colorado College. This is a project-focused blog, mostly for people on the committee to keep track of web sites and the like: http://library.coloradocollege.edu/program/

* See Also, Steve Lawson's Library Weblog. My personal/professional blog that the college/library hosts because Carol, the Director, is cool: http://library.coloradocollege.edu/steve/

* Tutt Library News. Pretty much what it sounds like. We use FeedBurner to put headlines on the library home page: http://library.coloradocollege.edu/news/
